Groundworks offer an expansive range of services in private sector earthmoving, with a comprehensive fleet of Cat excavator equipment to a selection of trucks for general cartage purposes. Specialised attachments are also available for bulk vegetation clearance, rural and vineyard work. Groundworks offer every earthmoving type service from rock wall and driveway construction, to hard and soft landscaping and detailed excavation.

GROUNDWORKS Compact Cat Excavators
The Groundworks fleet includes the most compact of excavators, ranging from the Cat 303CR to the Cat 308CCR. All compact machines have been specifically designed and selected for their suitability to working in confined urban spaces, carrying out detailed work such as household landscaping, to the provision of trenching for new service installation, foundation and footing work. As with our larger excavators, the compact machines are the most technologically advanced available and ideal in the challenging Queenstown environment.

GROUNDWORKS Heavy Cat Excavators
Included in the range of earthmoving equipment Groundworks houses, are the Cat 320CU and Cat 312C excavators.
These machines are ideally suited to applications such as large scale landscaping projects, bulk site excavation, rock wall and driveway construction.
Both machines are from the most recent Caterpillar series and feature low radius swing areas for operation in confined urban spaces.
Specialised attachments for these machines include a root rake for bulk clearance of unwanted vegetation, and compactor for vineyard and rural work.

GROUNDWORKS Heavy Trucks
Groundworks provide a general cartage service utilising heavy trucks and tipulators. This service is designed for the bulk removal of excess waste, and the delivery of large quantity aggregates to site.
Also available is a transporting service for the haulage of light to heavy machinery.

GROUNDWORKS Compact Trucks
For smaller requirements Groundworks provide a compact trucking service, used for the delivery of smaller quantities of aggregates, and for the removal of excess waste from site, again suitable for application in confined spaces and areas difficult to access.
